KPBS Pledge Event

What: Assist in answering phones and enter caller information during a live KPBS broadcast.
When: Thursday, August 5th from 6:45PM-10:30PM. Meet at school at 6:15PM!
Where: 5200 Campanile Dr. San Diego, CA 92182 (SDSU)

Dinner, snacks, coffee, and other refreshments will be provided. There will also be an optional tour of the KPBS set some time during the event.

There is a maximum of 11 volunteers for this event! PLEASE CONTACT US BY MONDAY MORNING (JULY 26th) AT THE LATEST if you are interested in going because we need to send in a list of volunteers by then. Thanks! =D

Swim Meet

What: Help out at a swim meet at the Jewish Community Center in La Jolla; we'll be timing lanes and manning the snack booth. Volunteers will receive a $25 gift card to a local restaurant (provided by the organization)!

When: Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25

8 a.m. - 7 p.m.

*Note: since this event is so long, we might not be able to have a coordinator present the entire time, if so, ask an adult volunteer for a signed slip

July DCM

What: Our Division 37 South LTG Vivian Yu will host the monthly DCM first, followed by a Poway KC fundraiser for PTP/DCON 2011.

BBQ fundraiser, bring $5 for food, capture the flag, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and an opportunity to throw water balloons at your officers ($1 for 5 throws) winning divisional t-shirt design will be unveiled, pre-orders for divisional hoodies/shirts

KOZ Solana Beach Triathlon

What: Help out at a water station or finish line for the Solana Beach Triathlon, which is raising money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation and several other charities!

When: Sunday, July 25th, 2010

Time: 5:30am - 10:00am (meet at school at 5:00 am)

Where: Lomas Santa Fe Drive and Pacific Coast Highway (parking lot)

WE GET $10 FOR EVERY PERSON THAT GOES!!!!! Help us raise money to donate to Pediatric Trauma Prevention and fundraise for DCON 2011!!
