CPR Saturday by the American Red Cross

A free event on Saturday, March 15 sponsored by the American Red Cross for free CPR certification. We're volunteering first and foremost, but if you're over 12 (which I hope you all are...) you can get training too, just not while volunteering! Sessions run every hour from 7 am - 1pm, and volunteering will be around that time plus a few hours extra maybe for clean-up.

It will be at the Golden Hall at the San Diego Concourse (202 C St. at B St. and 3rd Avenue). We will meet at school at 5 am because they need volunteers most for the morning shifts. I know it's early, but they provide breakfast and lunch!

IMPORTANT: If you'd like to volunteer, they want you to register here: http://sdarc.org/ProgramsServices/CPRSaturday/VolunteeratCPRSaturday/tabid/267/Default.aspx. You will also need a form signed by your parents, which I will e-mail you if you post a comment here or e-mail me at tsaojeff [at] gmail [dot] com.

Please sign up ASAP if you'd like to go!

email: callmemc@gmail.com
What: Seems like we just had the BBQ Fundraiser? Well, that's because this time we need a fundraiser people actually come too! Yes, that includes YOU! If you didn't go because of Science Olympiad or other engagements, now is your chance to help out TPHS Key Club and have a super fun time with your friends. This time I tried to choose the most convenient time for everyone, so you better be there with $15, which will cover 2 games and shoes. Come and you'll get 1 hour of community service, and for every non-Key Club member you bring, you will get 30 mins. Yes, we give you hours to have fun. I kid you not.
Where: SDSU at the Aztec Center Lower Courtyard
When: Saturday, February 16, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Changed!)
Why:
We are in desperate need for money for DCON, a huge event in April where 3,000 Key Clubbers from all around California, Nevada, and Hawaii come to learn how to improve their club, are given information about their club position, vote on district officers, and cheer their asses off. If you are going to DCON, the more people that come to bowling, the cheaper your admission will be! And even if you aren't going, more officers will be able to come to the event, meaning a more experienced board and therefore a more organized and productive club! It all goes back to you!
