Why Key Club?

"Caring - our way of life."

Why join KEY CLUB?
Disclaimer: Everything on this list is true and valid to me. I am not exaggerating. I may be biased, though, 'cause I love Key Club too much.

1. Key Club is fun. We do so many things! Animal care, where we pet, feed, walk, and take care of dogs, Soup Kitchen, where we cook for and feed the homeless, Recycling, where we go around school collecting recyclables, Marathons and Races, where we give out water and snacks (and eat some too), and so much more.

2. Key Club is where you make new friends. Basically, as far as I'm concerned, everyone in Key Club are my friends. We eat lunch together, do community service together, hang out on the weekends, pretty soon we'll be facebook friends. It's inevitable.

3. Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. 'Nuff said.

4. Key Club is INTERNATIONAL. Basically, we are awesome.

5. Key Club is citizenship, leadership, (and awesomeness). We have many opportunities for leadership, for everyone - freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, we love you all.

6. Key Club actually MAKES A DIFFERENCE. When you join Key Club, you make a difference. Every cup of water you hand out, every plastic bottle you pick up, everything you do is important. We're not just some club that people join for the title or name. We are hardcore community service.

7. Key Club - local to international. We collaborate with international organizations every year: UNICEF, March of Dimes, Pediatric Trauma Program, (just to name a few).

8. In Key Club, you meet new people. Key Club is international, but we are divisional too. We are Division 37 South - which includes many schools in San Diego County. You can meet people in San Diego. We are part of District CALI-NEV-HA, which consists of all Key Club's in California, Nevada, and Hawaii. Every year, we go to District Convention (DCON), were thousands of people from these three states meet, learn, promote service and leadership, and dance. (Yes, DANCE.)

9. We want you. Get involved! We are the biggest club on campus. It's never too early or too late to get involved in your school and community. In fact, Key Club time is all the time.
