What: Cooking food for people in need

Where: Rachel Kao's house. Rachel's mom will be picking volunteers up from Torrey Pines and dropping them back off at TP after.

When: 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday, July 27

11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday: only 5 people will be needed to help drop off food.

KPBS Event!

What: Volunteers will be taking pledges to help support our local television station. Dinner will be provided and our group will be on the air!

When: August 5 from 8:00-10:30 p.m.

Where: 5200 Campanile Dr., San Diego, CA 92182 (close to SDSU)

Iron Girl Event and Solana Beach Triathlon

What: The Iron Girl Event consists of over 700 women supporting women with ovarian cancer. The Solana Beach Triathlon benefits the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Volunteers will help out with water stations, set-up and clean-up, registration and more! Free t-shirts! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

This event is a fundraising opportunity for our club. The deal is that if you go both days we will recieve $25 per person! That means that if 20 people show up we will have $500!! So please try to make it to BOTH days!











When:
Meet in front of TPHS at 5 am for both days
Iron Girl Event Saturday, July 28th 5:30 a.m. to 10:00.
Solana Beach Triathlon Sunday July 29th 5:30 a.m. to 10:00.

Directions / Parking
B&L Bike & Sports, Solana Beach: Take I-5 to Lomas Santa Fe Drive. Head west (toward the coast) to Hwy 101 (Coast Hwy) turn right and proceed north � mile. B&L is located on the left side at 211 North Coast Hwy 101, in Solana Beach

Fletcher Cove, Solana Beach: Take I-5 to Lomas Santa Fe Drive to Fletcher Cove. Parking is available at the beach parking lot, along S. Sierra; at the train depot on Cedros (one block east of Hwy 101); or along nearby residential streets.

Wags for Wishes


What: The 5th Annual Wags for Wishes, the largest and most comprehensive dog show on the West Coast!!! This event supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant the wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions.


When:

Sunday July 8th (the day of the dog show!)

Shift #1 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon (Michelle 335-9258 will be coordinating this shift)

Shift #2 12:00 noon-5:00 p.m. (Nadia will be coordinating this shift)

Free t-shirt and food to all participants! Your family can attend the event for free if you are a volunteer.
