Key Club Elections

To all prospective Key Club board members for the 2009-2010 school year:

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a leader on the TPHS Key Club Board! Please keep in mind that it is a great honor and time commitment to serve one of the largest community service groups on campus, and if you are running for a position, Key Club must be a top priority. We are looking for responsible, dedicated, charismatic leaders who are passionate about community service and who have a vision to take Key Club to even greater heights!

All members or current representatives interested in running for a position must e-mail a brief statement addressing why they are running and what they will contribute to strengthen Key Club (including any ideas they have for service opportunities). This statement should be e-mailed to tphskeyclub@gmail.com. On Election Day (to be announced, but presumably mid-February), each candidate will be required to give a 1-2 minute speech to the entire club. Only enrolled Key Club members will be given a ballot to vote.

The following offices are available:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Bulletin Editor (Web manager)

If you have any questions regarding the responsibilities of any of these offices, please e-mail or talk to any Key Club officer. We are here to help you!

DCM

What: PROSPECTIVE OFFICERS--with elections coming up, I highly suggest that you come to this event. Key Club is a pretty complicated organization, and there is a lot of planning that goes on behind-the-scenes that most members don't know about, so the DCM will help you to understand this process! Also, in the midst of the elections, taking the initiative to go to this meeting will display to voters your motivation, experience, and dedication to the club. Again, email me if you are attending.
