KPBS Pledge Event

What: Volunteers help take phone calls on air at the KPBS studio. There will be PRIZES at this event! Not just any gift but official KPBS logo items. Prizes for most calls, highest donation, most coffee consumed, etc. There will also be a brief tour of the KPBS studio after the event.

When: Saturday, December 4th from 3:15pm-9:30pm (meet at school at 2:40pm for rides)

Where: 5200 Campanile Drive, San Diego, CA 92182 (SDSU)

*Dinner, snacks, coffee, and other refreshments will be provided. Volunteers work shifts of 20 minute intervals, with plenty of breaks in between. Volunteers must also wear business casual attire.

*There is a MAXIMUM OF 14 VOLUNTEERS!! If you are interested in attending this event, let us know ASAP so that you reserve your spot before all the spots are taken.

Girls Rock Run/5K

What: The Girls Rock 5K Walk/Run will be benefiting The Jenna Druck Foundation's Young Women’s Leadership program which provides leadership training to middle and high school young women in San Diego County. We expect this day to be a fun filled family event and would love to have you as a volunteer.

When: Saturday, December 4th

Where: Ingraham Plaza Liberty Station in Point Loma

Time: 6:00AM - 10:00AM (meet at TPHS at 5:30AM)

Mt. Carmel/Westview PTP Party

What: Mt. Carmel/Westview PTP Party. Admission is $10. There will be food (Panda Express, chips, ice cream, s'mores, etc) and games (twister, cranium, card games, video games, and park games). There will also be blasting music which you know means... DANCING!

When: Saturday, November 27th from 5pm-9pm.

Where: 9791 Deer Trail Drive, San Diego, CA

Why: The proceeds will benefit the Pediatric Trauma Program. The program provides funds to train pediatric doctors and to purchase pediatric medical equipment. Some proceeds will also go to the Mt. Carmel Key Club and the Westview Key Club.

*This party will immediately follow the November DCM. We will carpool to the DCM only, so if you want to attend the party and you need a ride, then you should attend the DCM :]

What: Our monthly divisional council meeting. You will learn new information regarding our division, and as a bonus you get to meet cool, friendly Key Clubbers from other high schools :]

Christmas Cheer Holiday Project

What: PACT works year round to educate and inspire others through the arts. Inspire others through your voice this holiday season! Sing Christmas Carols for Nursing Home Residents in Encinitas and uplift underserved members of our community.

When: December 4th, 2010

Time: 1:00PM - 3:00PM (meet at TPHS at 12:30PM for rides)

Where: Nursery Homes in Encintas, Encinitas, CA 92024

Thanksgiving Basket Brigade

What: Prepare food baskets to give to needy families and homeless shelters for Thanksgiving.

When: Sunday, November 21st. 9am - 1pm (meet at school at 8:30am)

Where: Marriott Pavilion in Mission Valley: 8757 Rio San Diego Drive, San Diego, CA 92108

*If you have any baskets at home that you aren't using, please bring them to the event. We need them to prepare the packages of food. Thanks :]

D37S Fall Rally

What: one of the biggest Key Club events of the year

When: November 20th

Where: SIX FLAGS

Why: to raise money for the Pediatric Trauma Prevention Program, key Club Spirit, experience motivational programs, divisional spirit rally, meet new people

Who: Key Clubbers from all over Socal and Nevada

Cost: $66 on time payment (date passed), $75 for late payment (due before November 19th) which includes transportation, a divisional shirt, a spirit pack, and admission into the park

Silver Strand Half Marathon

What: Assist at the race by manning the water station, cheering on the runners, and other miscellaneous tasks.

When: Sunday, November 14th from 5:45am-10:30am (meet at school at 5 am)

Where: 500 ft. North of Rainbow and Highway 75. Coronado, CA 92118

*Please wear comfortable shoes and as much teal/turquoise as possible. Also, if you can, please bring noisemakers, pom poms, or anything else to assist in making a fun, lively environment for the runners and all of the other volunteers :]

What: Work the finish line at the Shelter Island 5K Run/Walk.

When: Sunday, November 7th from 6:15am - 9:30am (meet at school at 5:45am)

Where: Humphrey's Half Moon Bay, 2303 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego

*Volunteers receive a Shelter Island 5K t-shirt and a free Champagne Breakfast Buffet!
