$5 TO ENTER
WINNER GETS 25% OF THE POT
That means, TELL AS MANY OF YOUR FRIENDS TO SIGN UP AS POSSIBLE. THE MORE PEOPLE WHO ENTER, THE MORE MONEY YOU CAN WIN ;]

According to my sources, around 20-30 people are signed up right now.

What: Division 37 South Key Club is hosting its annual end of the year banquet and we would love to have you come to help us celebrate the achievements of this past year's officers and members with dinner, awards, dancing, and an officer SILENT AUCTION.AUCTION DETAILS: We have selected people from various schools (they know who they are already) to be auctioned off (auctionees will be revealed at the banquet). The divisional points system will determine how much 'money' (tickets) each person from a school will receive and those will be used to bid on people. You MAY pool tickets with other people. The winners will receive a slow dance and a rose ;)This will also be the D37S June DCM!

Cost: $10 (covers dinner, awards, DJ) and NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR!

Dress code: Semi-formal (i.e. girls – skirts/dresses/nice pants, etc; guys – button down, polo, etc)

COMMOTION BY THE OCEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

What: A Rock Show and Festival that will benefit OUR VERY OWN Boys and Girls Clubs of San Dieguito’s Youth Arts Academy; We will help out with face painting, the "jumpy jump", selling t-shirts, food, tickets, bathrooms, and security. Come and see what all the commotion is about!! :)

When: Saturday May 22nd, 2010 from 12:30PM-5PM (We will actually be meeting in front of Carmel Valley Middle School's Gym at 12:15PM)

Amazing Quest, Year-End Party, Family BBQ and Silent Auction

Where: Solana Pacific
When: May 14th, 2010
Time: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
What: We will be volunteering as Race Officials for the Amazing Quest stations, with the silent auction and sale of opportunity drawing raffle tickets, with the food service stations for the pizza and water distribution for racers (in the Solana Pacific auditorium) and the BBQ (Phil's BBQ is the caterer), and with a few games (cake walk and small games). There will be a DJ at the event.

9th Annual San Elijo Lagoon Day!

What: As a part of San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy, this event is to raise awareness for one of San Diego's last estuaries. :( We will be helping out with some booths, such as face painting, arts and crafts for the children, and perhaps learn a thing or two about preserving the San Elijo Lagoon!

When: Saturday May 15th, 2010 10AM-3PM. (Meet at TP for rides at 9:30AM)

Gonzales Canyon Enhancement

What: Help preserve open space park lands by picking up trash, removing non-native plants, planting native plants (depending on time of year) and maintaining the trail. Tools and gloves are provided. You should wear closed-toe shoes and protection from the sun (hat, sunscreen, etc) and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

When: Saturday, May 8th (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)

La Jolla Swim Meet

What: Time swimmers and help organize a swim meet hosted by North Coast Aquatics. This is a local event, so we won't have to deal with driving down to Mission Bay or Balboa Park, yay!

When: Saturday, May 29 (8 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.)

Sunday, May 30 (8 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.)

Del Mar Beach Cleanup

What: Help other local volunteers clean up the Del Mar beach by picking up trash and helping the environment! Bags and water are provided, but remember to wear a hat and sunscreen since it might be sunny :]

Where: Powerhouse Park, Del Mar (No rides since it's close! Bring a friend and set up a carpool!)

Walk To Empower 2010

What: This is a 3-mile, non-competitive family friendly Walk around the beautiful sea shore surrounding Mission Bay, hosted by the Breast Cancer Network of Strength in order to raise money to raise awareness, support survivors and let breast cancer patients know that they are not in this alone. As volunteers it is our job to support the walkers on their journey to fight breast cancer. :] We will be cheering on the walkers and handing out water, usual race/walk type stuff.

When: Sunday, May 9th 2010 ; 6:30am-11am.
