Ocean Air Spring Carnival

What: Help out at the prize table at the Ocean Air Spring Carnival, which raises money for many programs at the school including Study Buddies and Red Ribbon Week.

When: Sunday, April 3rd 1:00pm-4:00pm (various shifts). Only five spaces available so sign up at a meeting quickly or email Karis at for a spot! MEET AT OCEAN AIR at your shift start time.

TPGSA Bake Sale

What: Bring baked goods (about enough to feed 20 people) for the TPGSA Bake Sale, which will raise money for the TPHS Day of Silence and a TPHS equality mural. Please make the baked goods individually wrapped (ex: two cookies in a ziplock bag or one brownie in wax paper).

When: Friday, March 25th at lunch. (The actual bake sale is on March 26th, so we're just collecting baked goods on Friday).

Where: Room 53 (Trupe's room)

American Red Cross Annual CPR Saturday Event

What: American Red Cross Annual CPR Saturday Event.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided; water, coffee and tea will be available throughout the day.
Dress comfortably from head to toe since it is an all day event. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt to wear during the event.
$79 worth of FREE CPR training will be given at the start of the event!

When: Saturday, March 19th from 6:30AM-5PM (meet at event at 6:30AM)

Beach Cleanup (Moonlight Beach)

What: Help at a local beach clean up! Clean trash that can harm wildlife off our beaches :)

When: Saturday, March 19        9 a.m. - 11 a.m. (meet at school @ 8:30 a.m.)

Where: Moonlight Beach, Encinitas

Please wear sunscreen!! Buckets and trash pick-up sticks will be provided. Email if you want to volunteer.

Pancake Fundraiser Selling Tickets

What: Help sell fundraiser tickets to the annual Powerhouse Park Pancake Breakfast!! TPKC gets $2 from each ticket sold, so this fundraiser helps us as well as the Del Mar Kiwanis! We will give you 10 adult and 10 children's tickets, and please remember, you are responsible for them, so we need either the unused ticket back, or the ticket stub + money. Please keep the small tear-off from each ticket you sell!

How: Send us an email ( so that we can get the tickets to you, or pick them up at meetings!

When: you can sell tickets until April 15

Event: the actual event is April 20 at Powerhouse Community Center in Del Mar

Gonzales Canyon Cleanup

What: help preserve the outlands through plant removal, trash pickup, planting native plants, trail maintenance

Race for Autism

When: Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 6:15am-10:30am (MEET AT SCHOOL AT 5:45AM)

Where: grassy area on the corner of 6th Ave and Laurel Street, Balboa Park, San Diego, CA 92101

What: Help out at the race by passing out water and refreshments to raise funds for finding a cure for autism.

31st Annual St Patrick's Day 10K Run

What: Help out at the finish area of the 10K run benefiting Rady Children's Hospital San Diego. All volunteers receive a t-shirt, Domino's pizza, snacks, water, and coffee.

When: Saturday March 12th, 2011. MEET AT TP AT 5:30AM! (Event: 6:00am- 9:30am)

Where: Mission Bay Park, San Diego. (I-5 and Sea World Drive exit to E Mission Bay Drive. Second parking lot NORTH of Hilton Hotel.)

Purple Day Run.

What: To spread epilepsy awareness. We are going to set up and clean up the run. It's going to be a spirited full day event--dessert will be provided. Volunteers must wear purple [YAY!]

PAWS in the Park 2011!

What: Are you a dog lover? Well if you are, this is for you: volunteers are assigned to work a agility/confidence course, where volunteers get the task to take care and watch the dogs in dog playground.

When: March 27, 2011 (time: 7:30am-11am meet @ school : 7:10am)

What: TPKC is hosting the 2nd spring dance/fundraiser with foods, games, Rockband and Dance Central, pool table, music, and dancing!! There will be a candy guessing game...guess the number of pieces of candy in the jar...the closest wins the jar :)

Where: Airoso Clubhouse (6135 Peppergrass Creek

When: Saturday, March 26th from 6:30pm-11:30pm

*Proceeds will go toward Feeding America of San Diego and DCON! Each $1 we donate to FASD pays for 8 dinners for people in need.
*Dress classy casual or semi-formal. RED, BLACK, OR WHITE if possible! Girls, take the opportunity to be creative and have fun with your outfits! Guys, effort will be admired but a casual look will do. :)
*Cost: $10 per person or $5 per person with a donation of 5 non-perishable food items (Food will go toward a food drive for Feeding America)
