Multiple Schlerosis Walk!!!

What: Join us for the Walk MS 2009. It’s a fun and festive event that raises funds to help people affected by multiple sclerosis-a disease of the central nervous system that has no known cause or cure. We will be cheering on people who are participating in this amazing race!

When: Sunday April 26th 2009 from 6:45am-10:00am. We will be meeting on front of TPHS for rides at 6:10am.

Where: LEGOLAND!!!! 1 LEGOLAND Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008

Directions for Drivers: Merge onto the I-5. eTake the exit Palomar Airport Road – Head East. Turn left on The Crossings Road. Then Left Into LEGOLAND Delivery Entrance. Please bring photo ID and stop at security gates. All Carlsbad volunteers will park in Lot E. We will be meeting in this Lot.


******IMPORTANT: In order to participate in this AWESOME EVENT, you MUST register online at http://www.mswalk.com/ scroll down the left hand menu under "Support the MS Walk" and click on "volunteer registration". Check the option that says "Route Cheerers/Course Marshal - Rest Stop #2 Carlsbad - LEGOLAND -April 6, 2009 7:00am - 10:00am". Click CONTINUE. Fill out the registration (name, address, phone, email, t-shirt size, etc.) REMEMBER that you are volunteering as GROUP, not individual. Under "Provide the individual or group name", type your club name as "Torrey Pines HS Key Club." Press Continue.

All volunteers under the age of 18 must have their parents permission to volunteer. There is a waiver as part of the confirmation that Linda Ingram will send to each volunteer once they register ONLINE. Registration for volunteering will have a DEADLINE, so go online and register by April 5th.
